The Research for Nutrition Conference offers a specialised space where the latest research findings on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of malnourished children are shared and discussed.
The conference is aimed at humanitarian and development actors in all areas related to child undernutrition and its causes.
1. To share the latest scientific evidence on the prevention and treatment of child undernutrition among decision makers/policy makers, researchers and implementers. Empowering local solutions with a community-based approach.
2. To highlight the need for articulate prevention at the community level together with the diagnosis and treatment of malnutrition.
3. Build consensus on evidence-based strategies to address child undernutrition in different contexts and situations. Identification of changes in practices, review of policies, challenges and capacities needed.
